Short Biography

Stefano Paris was born in Bergamo on June 16th, 1982. He received a M.S. degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Bergamo, in May 2007. In 2007 he collaborated with the ANTLab Research Laboratory of the Politecnico di Milano developing MobiMESH, a real wireless mesh network.

In January 2010, he has been invited by Professor Cristina Nita-Rotaru to visit the Computer Science Department at Purdue University, Indiana, USA, for 9 months. He has cooperated with Prof. Nita-Rotaru on topics related to security and reliability in wireless networks.

On February 2011 he received his Ph.D. in Information Engineering (telecommunication section) from Politecnico di Milano.

His research interests include topics related to security, anomaly detection, and reliability in wireless mesh and community networks.
