Syllabus
This course is based on the ICDL programme. The contents are:
- Module 1 – Concepts of Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
- Module 2 – Using the Computer and Managing Files
- Module 3 – Word Processing
- Module 3AD Advanced Word Processing
- Module 4 – Spreadsheets
- Module 4AD Advanced Spreadsheet
- Module 5 – Using Databases
- Module 6 – Presentation
- Module 7 – Web Browsing and Communication

Exams
The exam (for my module) has two parts (both on a computer, in the same day):
- quiz: they will cover module 1, 2, and 7
- practical part: you will be asked to complete an exercise for each module (3 + 3AD, 4 + 4AD, 5, 6).
Dates 2019
The first two calls for my module in 2019 will be held in two dates: 14 Jan 2019 and 5 Feb 2019 - both at 9.00h in the lab in via dei Caniana. Please register using the official system. If you do not register, you may be not allowed to take the exam (if there is no available PC, for example).
Instructions
You will have between 3 to 4 hours to complete both the quiz AND the practical part. You CANNOT use any material of any type (no notes, pdf, usb sticks, and so on). No use of Internet is allowed. You will use the computer lab with office 365 in English with a special account. In special cases, I may allow the use of personal laptop wih an empty user and no wifi - please ask me before the exam.
